- your device identity and type, I.P. address, geo-location information, page view statistics, advertising data and standard web log information;

- use or interact with the Software, including its digital garage, build tracker, My Mechanic chat, marketplace, in-app messaging system, or trip planning features;
- enter, upload or manage your vehicle, maintenance, insurance, trips, marketplace transaction history or other related records through the Software;

- receive goods or services from us;
- submit forms, sign up for subscriptions, purchases or premium services;
- communicate with us via the Software, email, telephone, SMS, social applications (such as LinkedIn or Facebook) or otherwise;
- enable location services, push notifications, social logins or other device permissions;
- interact with our website, social applications, services, content and advertising;
- provide information to us through third-party service providers, app marketplace platforms or integrations, including social login providers, payment processors or analytics providers; or
- invest in our business or enquire as to a potential purchase in our business.

- to improve and optimise our service offering and customer experience, including Software performance, security, technical stability and user experience;

- to process and facilitate automated outputs, My Mechanic interactions and related functionality through third-party technology providers;
- to send you marketing and promotional messages and other information that may be of interest to you and for the purpose of direct marketing (in accordance with the Spam Act). In this regard, we may use email, SMS, social media or mail to send you direct marketing communications. You can opt out of receiving marketing materials from us by using the opt-out facility provided (e.g. an unsubscribe link);
- to send you administrative messages, reminders, notices, updates, security alerts, and other information requested by you; and
- to consider an application of employment from you.
We may disclose your personal information to cloud-providers, contractors and other third parties located inside or outside of Australia. If we do so, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient has similar legal safeguards and deals with such personal information in a manner consistent with how we deal with it.
Automated Decision-Making
We may use automated systems to make decisions, recommendations or assessments that significantly affect you, including providing automated responses, advice and recommendations through our My Mechanic feature (including in relation to vehicles, repairs, modifications and purchasing decisions), surfacing marketplace listings that match your wishlist through our matching system, and providing aftermarket parts and upgrade recommendations. These processes involve the use of personal information to evaluate certain aspects about you such as your vehicle ownership, build interests, wishlist and preferences, in-app activity and engagement with the App. You may request human review of any automated decision by contacting us at support@motorbase.app.
Security
We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is secure and protected from misuse or unauthorised access. Our information technology systems are password protected, and we use a range of administrative and technical measures to protect these systems. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
